Humanity is defined by humans along with its evolution in different terms, different civilizations according to their scope they defined their rules, norms, culture, practices, and other regulations. But they followed the same natural relation of two living beings, which followed the earlier man, apes, homo Erectus mostly the human love and sexuality. Here I have defined two different words "love" and "sexuality". So love is the very simple attraction of likeliness of any two animative things, but sexuality is mind-oriented or simply permitted by a living being. In better words, "sexuality can be the way of expressing love but love is not necessarily the way of expressing sexuality". The majority of people sometimes misleads the meaning of those two words by lack of literature and facts. Also, there are two words "similarity" and "difference", let's see how a human reacts according to it. Suppose in a village, a person from outside enters (has a different personality, look representing to another region), villagers first keeps looking at him/her, but the one who dares tries to ask a question and discovers that he/she has different thinking, ideology, believes, etc. so that's how discrimination begins and humans get divided and humans following his/her ego join a group with similar him/her. So that's the same thing going on with the LGBTQ community in today's world. We all are discriminating the humans with different categories based on their sexuality. I don't think one's sexuality should be his/her identity. We all are humans, and in this world, most people are educated enough but still sometimes don't use their brain, sense of humor, and the so-called sixth sense. People who belong to this community are coming out as better humans by accepting and living together. In history, you will find out the revolution for this community has begun since 1989 in the stonewall in the US and till now their purpose is LGBT rights, there are others organizations example ILGA, IGLO, ILGLaw, GRIN, GATE, GLISA, etc., support this revolution in human society. Now in India to there are revolutions run by this community for their rights. But even in this modern era, the people with older generation thinking are not ready to accept because again the same village story is applied, they haven't seen these things in their entire life. So it becomes really hard for them to accept, it may be they will have some other influence, respect worry, or whatever. Everyone knows once pot is bricked and it's done, but the difference will be on how it was built. When a human living is adapted to a certain environment, it becomes easy for him to live, that's it. Now about the struggle, they are facing is with the behavior by society, society spectacles, society thinking. About the sexuality of humans, it is naturally developed in as well as permitted by himself/herself. So I think a human educated and smart enough can easily think how things progress based on his/her experience and relate the same with people belonging to this community.
A person's character and its definition and progress begin from childhood itself. Every child of humankind must be educated enough and be aware of the knowledge of humanity, love, sexuality. This happens mostly at puberty of child. But puberty and maturity are not necessarily the same thing and will be experienced by the child at the time of puberty. It is often found out that children miss concepts the puberty with maturity. Puberty is by age but maturity is by knowledge. It is not necessary that every child will get matured at same ages, some needs long time while some need not. According to the paper published in srdc-online-library, some children know themselves as LGBT facing challenges in their school life like they have classmates but what about friendship with others, friendship is necessary for everyone's school life whoever you are, but again even after knowing ignorance increases. I think it's really simple to behave normally with them nothing much is needed. If you are a teacher then it's advisable to talk to him/her as your friend.
We will now refer little to Indian mythology, I don't think in Indian mythology there was discrimination in humans based on sexuality. About Bhagwat Geeta, Lord Krishna explains to Arjuna, about love and worship are the same thing. Also "All of the universes is within me and I am within the universe" along with it he also explains about the soul, the soul is part of him and he is part of the soul, the soul within you is not discriminated, they are originated from the same thing before life and they are united to the same thing afterlife. Accepting this way of thinking, it is advisable to all humankind that discrimination, ignorance is not the solution to treat the people. The solution is to think widely, accept this community in human society. Ignoring them will same as again going back to the same time where people used to do discrimination based on caste in olden times. Discrimination doesn't end until ignorance ends. Human while talking at least in public must not think of what kind of sexuality does he/she has, he/she should think of him/her as human and provide enough respect. Besides these, some immature knowingly or unknowingly misunderstands and spread rumors about thinking which different than their thoughts, now this work as a spark for a forest. In India, it was seen that the government itself did not show interest while passing judgment for this community but instead court itself passed it. Also, some politicians claimed, promoting LGBT is the reduction of the population ("Ye to insani nasl to khatm karna hai"), this is nonsense, thinking practically in today's time India has crossed 1.30 billion in terms of population and the quantity of this community people is very low as compared, it's definitely not going to affect as per the number. Finally, the fact about the colorful flag this community is using, means Hot pink is for Sex, Red is for Life, Orange for Healing, Yellow for Sunlight, Green is for Nature, Turquoise for Magic/Art, Indigo for Serenity, and Violet for Spirit.
